German television (NDR) visited our labs for a report around autonomous driving. We showed our work on the RECBAR prototype. You can find the report (german language) online.

Jan received a IEEE IES Travel Scholarship to attend the 19th IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation.

We are happy to announce that the 1st OMNeT++ Community Summit will be hosted by the CoRE and INET working groups at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. The OMNeT++ Community Summit is the sucessor of the International Workshop on OMNeT++. Please, consider the call for papers.

Due to construction work in the I&E Building we moved our lab from Berliner Tor 7 to the Campus at Stiftstra├če 69. You can find us in the Building H in the first floor (Room 106). Please also note our limited connectivity (you cannot call us! Please use e-mail instead!). You will find us at our usual location in Berliner Tor 7, Room 580B+C in mid september.

The CoRE research group starts the RECBAR (Realtime Ethernet Backbone for Cars) project. The research project is scheduled for a total duation of 3 years and is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany (BMBF). Project partners are IAV, OFFIS and C-LAB.
